ARIES (March 21st – April 19th)
As the first sign in the zodiac, Aries are the bold fire signs of the group. Ambitious and competitive, they have a strong desire to come out on top. A classic espresso is their best match, as it’s enough caffeine to fuel their day, and it never fails to satisfy. Try a double shot espresso over ice for a colder option.
TAURUS (April 20th – May 20th)
Taurus is an earth sign, and true to its form, it remains grounded and strong, just like the bull that represents it. With that strength, however, comes an inner peace. Taurus loves to nourish themselves and relax. We recommend the cortado, which is espresso topped with warm milk and foam. This drink will give a Taurus the boost they need while remaining luxurious and subtle.
GEMINI (May 21st – June 20th)
As an air sign, Geminis can change with the wind. They are known for being spontaneous and playful. Their insatiable curiosity leads them to try whatever their heart desires, and don’t be surprised if their wants change day to day. A Gemini is most compatible with our Neapolitan Latte, a fun mixture of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla syrup over espresso with ice and milk.
CANCER (June 21st – July 22nd)
Cancer is a water sign, and is represented by the crab, which exists on both the shore and sea, representing Cancer’s ability to navigate both logical and emotional realms. They are emotional, intuitive, and protective of themselves. They would most likely enjoy a mocha, which is an espresso with chocolate and steamed milk. This velvety drink has both the caffeine they need while still keeping things sweet and not too overpowering.
LEO (July 23rd – August 22nd)
This fire sign is represented by the lion, and they live up to the animal’s characteristics. Leos are passionate and loyal, and are known for being spirited and theatrical. Like fireworks, they make for a good show. We would pair Leos with Syphon coffee, which is one of the more extravagant ways to brew. VIRGO (August 23rd – September 22nd)
This earth sign is known for being logical and practical. Virgos can get things done, and they are often perfectionistic and even materialistic at times. LIBRA (September 23rd – October 22nd)
Libra is an air sign, and they are represented by the scales. Libras seek balance and harmony in all aspects of their lives. They crave symmetry and push for equality. We would pair Libras with the cappuccino, which is espresso topped with steamed milk and finished with foamed milk on top. This is a wonderfully balanced drink that provides the delicious taste of coffee coupled with the subtle sweetness of the milk.
SCORPIO (October 23rd – November 21st)
Scorpios are water signs, and they are notorious for being elusive and mysterious. They are often the most misunderstood of all the signs, as they can be quite complicated and dynamic people. They are, however, quite courageous and go directly for what they want. A Scorpio is most compatible with the americano, which is simply espresso with hot water. This drink is often underrated, and Scorpios will appreciate its low level of popularity while enjoying the caffeine kick it provides.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22nd – December 21st)
This fire sign is represented by the archer, and they truly cannot be stopped. They are known for living life as if they are on a quest, and they tend to be wanderers and adventurers. They follow their pursuits with blazing glory. We think a Sagittarius would love a Vietnamese coffee, which is both intensely strong and sweet. A force to be reckoned with, Vietnamese coffee is a daring choice for the bold Sagittarius.
CAPRICORN (December 22nd – January 19th)
Capricorn is an earth sign, and is represented by the mythical sea goat. They are patient and persevering, just like the mountain goat that steadily climbs to the summit. They are known for being dedicated and stubborn. Capricorns would enjoy a Turkish coffee, which is traditionally brewed in boiling water and served as a small shot of espresso with the grounds left inside. AQUARIUS (January 20th – February 18th)
As an air sign, the Aquarius is the true humanitarian of the group. Aquarius signs always want to make the world a better place, and they are known for being innovative and progressive.
